I love spring and I really love that my husband always stops to pick me a bouquet of my favorite flower whenever them bloom.

School Dance

Carter had his first school dance. He informed, asked and begged me not to talk to him look at him or even acknowledge that I knew him. Well, I did sneak in this one picture with the statement or threat; however, one wants to look at it. Check out the corsage for his girlfriend. I didn't even ask for that picture.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
Carver school had a book fair all week with fun themes each day. Tuesday was Dr. Seuss' birthday so the kids choose a Seuss character to dress like. I begged Lili to dress as Cindy Lou, but she wanted to be the Cat In the Hat. Lucky for us Lili had a cat dance in the recital a few years ago and we still had the black tutu and cat tail. Mamaw made a big red tie, we borrowed a hat and painted on cute whiskers and black nose. Definitely the cutest cat i have ever seen.
Carter has gone girl crazy and mom is not happy. He is all excited for the school dance next month- not so crazy that mom will be there working. There seems to be a new girl each week or two. He decided to get his girlfriend of the week a valentine. When he found out that Dad was not buying and that he had to use his own money he settled for the $2 box of candy at Walgreens. The next morning while getting ready for school he tells me about his girlfriend and valentines day then proceeds to tell me "saying I love you is expensive" I sure am glad that that is all the love he has right now for girls. Two dollars worth.
