Ball season is in full swing! Carter is playing baseball with Justin coaching and Lili is playing t-ball. Carter plays third base and Lili mostly plays in the dirt. :)

Both kids had surgery today. Carter had his adenoids removed and Lili her adenoids and tonsils. Carter did not seem that worried. Lili worried for days. I even found a little note where she had written NO Surgery! They both did well. Carter will have a three day recovery and Lili 10 days. Looking forward to Carter breathing better and not being stuffy all winter long.

T-Ball

While running errands in Joplin last night I mentioned to Lili that we could stop by Academy Sports and pick up some knee socks for t-ball. Her response "Mom that is not necessary because I am not sliding into the base" Such a girly girl! Love it!
Kindergarten Last Day of School

Mrs. Morris was an amazing Kindergarten teacher. We fell in love with her from the start. She gave so much of herself to Lili and all the kids. Lili did really well in class. She makes friends easy and loves to read and write.

First Day of 5th Grade

Last Day of 5th grade

Seems to be a pattern here! I officially embarass my son and he does not wanting me taking his picture. Last day of 5th grade - Don't know who is more relieved. Him or me. Carter is a great kid and a good student but would quit school in a heartbeat to be a farmer. Surely we can hold out for seven more years. Mrs. Atnip allowed me to go in and make popcorn for the kids to eat while they watched a slideshow of pictures from the year. Look out 6th grade!

Lili's kindergarten program was precious. All the kindergarten classes sang and performed together. It really was so fun to watch all the kids sing, smile and dance around. We know that in the blink of an eye we will be watching her graduate.
