Blizzard 2011

What they are calling the Storm of the Century

17 inches of snow!

Lili is playing basketball for the first time. Coach Robbins is an excellent coach and very patient. The girls truly haved learned a lot and are having a good time. Lili cracks us up when she or someone else makes a basket. There is usually a little cheerleader moment with an arm gesture and chant.

Finally, she can blow a bubble. Lili has worked really hard to accomplish this. Today with help from Mikena she finally got it. I see lots of gum chewing and bubbles for the next few days.

Carter's idea of starting the New Year. 3 point buck. AKA one horn

What a blessed Christmas we had. Lots of family time and Santa was very good to us all.

Hortons Visit

Cousins are the best!
Mark, Michelle, Abby and Sydney traveled to Missouri to spend a week. Of course the time went too fast, but we enjoyed every minute we got with them.

Pioneer Day

Last year of youth football

Halloween- One of our favorite times of the year. Carter played his last game of youth football on Halloween night so Meghan took Ainsley and Lili trick or treating. Lili was so sweet to share her candy.

Scarecrow costume. Made by Mamaw of course.

What fun is only one costume. Fancy Nancy was used for dance night dress up.

First Grade Field Trip

Lili's first grade class went to the Springfield Dickerson Zoo.. It truly was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun. After spending a couple of hours at the zoo we had a picnic lunch and then headed back.

These Boots Were Made For Walking

Lili loves her boots. They are scuffed, her toes are pinched in the ends, and they don't look that comfortable, but she loves them. They are from last Halloween. She dances around inside the house and out. She especially loves to put them on after watching High School Musical.

Earrings

Well Lili finally sweet talked her daddy into getting her ears pierced.

She didn't even flinch when they did it. She picked out little blue butterflies. Now she says she is a daddy's girl.
